Hi, I'm Russell Lloyd
I Know What It Feels Like When Every Decision Matters—Because It Does.
I'm the founder of YourChild.org, a professional educational advocate, author, mentor, and the father of three children with special needs—two of whom are autistic.
Like so many parents, I did not choose this journey. It chose me.
Over the years, I have sat in IEP meetings, fought for services, navigated insurance, searched for answers, and experienced the frustration of systems that seem designed to exhaust families before helping them.
Why you need Russell
You Should Not Have to Carry the Whole Case Alone.
I have lived the late nights, the unanswered questions, the second-guessing, and the fear that waiting one more month could cost a child something they will not get back. Those experiences changed my life.
Today, I help families across the United States navigate special education, disability services, evaluations, school meetings, insurance, SSI, Medicaid, and waiver systems. My work is personal and direct: I learn your child's story, review the record, identify what is missing, and help you press for a decision that matches the real need.
I do not expect you to become an expert in every rule, document, and agency. I help you understand what matters, prepare the evidence and language, and keep moving when the system is counting on you to wait, accept less, or simply become too tired to continue.
Experience you can use
Complex Systems Have Been My Work for Nearly Three Decades.
Before founding YourChild.org, I spent nearly 30 years leading business operations for large organizations—solving complex problems, improving broken processes, and helping people move forward when systems were not working. Those same skills now help families organize difficult cases, expose gaps, and turn scattered concerns into focused action.
